Through a network of botanical institutes, farms, and
testing facilities worldwide, the AHP has archived
approximately 100 authentic botanical reference materials
to use in the development of internal quality control
specifications. Half of these are currently available
and listed below. Each AHP-Verified™ botanical
reference material has been verified as to its authenticity
to both genus and species and is accompanied by an
AHP Certificate of Authenticity. The primary purpose
of these materials is to confirm the authenticity of
other samples through macroscopic, microscopic, HPTLC,
or specific methods of analyses.
